We’re finally at the seaside and it’s day four, but it’s getting a bit windy. Welcome to the daily drone. Today’s drone footage came early in the day on a nice stretch of cycle path along by the coast. Unfortunately, it’s quite short cuz it got a bit w too windy for the drone and it was too windy to get the drone up again today. It was a game of two halves today as we spent half the time cycling through some very pretty seaside towns and villages. But the middle of the park day was spent battling into the wind in some very open and exposed roads with only lavash to keep us company. In challenge of the day, we had to get our bikes and luggage over this steep river bridge. Despite my bad knee, which I never like to talk about, I insisted on carrying my bike up. However, at the top, I had to admit defeat and let Mrs. Crusader take it down the other side. In Gatour, it was a classic French tart off between strawberry and chocolate. But after much consideration, chocolate was declared the controversial winner. Sadly, tomorrow’s forecast more strong wind plus added rain. So, it may be a challenge to get drone up in the sky for any footage. Fingers crossed.
