  1. Can’t see how thick or thin the Fox are (checked, they look ok… but i dunno about 170 ok). I know I like RC as a company (and less so Fox).

I bought Vans Knu School Mids as a compromise to get way more ankle coverage, while sacrificing sole quality and knowing they aren’t really a bike park shoe. Before that I would ride normal hi-tops from time to time, though I assume the BMX specific hi-tops simply have a better sole structure.

For ‘bike park days’ I pull out the ol faithfuls, the mid-hi top Ride Concepts with velcro, but they changed the name… They are noowww Wildcats? I think, either the TNTs or Wildcats.

but ya the Vice look like a compromise, sort of Vans hi top with a proper MTB sole… and i’m assuming or hoping the Fox are a more legit shoe, but knowing it’s Fox I’m not sure if it’s worth 170. jeez (if budget is not a concern, id prefer Fox sure… but I personally couldnt justify 170 for those. and wouldnt want the Vice per dollar either)

but ya my fav shoes are vans knu school mids and Ride Concepts Wildcats/TNTs. based on the riding I’m doing.

  2. This year I switched from FiveTen Freerider to RC Vice mids and I’m not going back. Love the shoe and the way it fits my feet plus the grip is super nice. Just my opinion from personal experience.

  3. I bought a pair of ride concept for £40. They’re one of  the best riding/casual shoes I ever owned. Would definitely buy again

I’ve been wearing ride concepts for years. They’re amazing shoes. They’re worth a shot if they fit you well. I have those exact shoes on rn and they’re great.
