Forgot to put this piece in my rear axle, now I can't get the axle out. I tried loosening the other side (that needs 25nm torque) and can't get it, even with holding a T handle on the other side. The side with that piece missing seems to tighten if I turn it CW or CCW. Do I just need to hold the T handle on the high torque side and break it loose on the side that I forgot the piece?
Just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing before I continue. Any help appreciated.

Well – wish you good luck, drilling this boy out from the threaded side
Need more Ugga duggas on the non drive side, use a breaker bar if you need to, the axle may sheer but then you need to try something else anyway. Consider putting light oil on the drive side threads or heating the frame with a heat gun
The missing piece is just a shim, the thru-axle is threaded into the drive side. You just need to unscrew it from the non-drive side, the regular direction. How much torque did you use screwing it in that it’s so difficult to remove?
