don’t go to Vietnam it’s unsafe full of scams you’ll get food poisoning and the traffic is terrible I solo travel Vietnam for 2 months and these are some of the things I heard before I went this made me nervous to go but despite this Vietnam was a lifelong dream of mine so I went anyway after this trip I was in complete shock because I traveled all over Vietnam North South and Central and I can honestly say that not one time did I feel unsafe I was never scammed and I had the best food of my life obviously use good judgment don’t go to sketchy places don’t trust people if you feel uncomfortable and read some restaurant reviews every country has good and bad things but I can honestly say that Vietnam has some of the most kind people that you’ll ever meet but they were right about one thing the traffic is insane

The food here can sometimes cause food poisoning — even Vietnamese travelers get it when going across the country. It’s best to stick to reputable restaurants, since local street vendors can be really hit or miss

Traffic in Vietnam is an illusion. If you afraid, close your eyes and walk slowly, you will end up on the other side without any problem. Don't try it in traffic that has large car or truck
In 2026 in summer, there is a teacher in my school who is taking non students, students and parents or friends or family to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, Vietnam is a life long dream for me and same with Singapore. Thank your for your experience with Vietnam it makes me excited to experience!! ❤
Don’t go to Vietnam, it’s unsafe. Go to the hood, Chicago, NYC. Mayors there claimed their city is the safest even though they walked around with a dozen body guards. The body guards are just so they got a job, not to protect the mayor safety.

I’m Filipino and grew up in Canada, and I had an amazing trip to Vietnam last year! It quickly became my favorite country to visit after Japan. I can’t wait to go back again and again!

Southeast Asia isn't that much different from the west, big cities are big cities! They have dangerous areas, just use common sense and be careful with your important belongings but never let that stop you from visiting these countries!!
