as he makes his way. Hello and welcome to highlights of the sixth and final stage of the 2025 Lloyd’s Tour of Britain. And an emotional day for Welsh cycling as one of the greatest Welsh sportsmen of all time. Garin Thomas closes the curtain on what has been an incredible career tour to France victories. Double Olympic gold medal list. It would be an emotional day for Garin out on home roads. Roman Gregoire took a two second lead over Remco aanapole into the stage with Julian Alfalipe third at 4 seconds. One intermediate sprint along the route at Killili with 11.3 km to go. 106 and four bonus seconds on the line. It could all come down to the wire. In true fashion, Gan Thomas one of the early riders looking to try and get into a breakaway, but it did take a while for one to eventually stick. Remco a Nepal almost trying to sneak into a cheeky move. Roman Gregoire was wise to that. Bastian Tro and Fred Wright took a group clear. They were joined at the front by Julius Johannes and Matt Venzels of a Kern Farana also getting up to the breakaway group. Wels was 1 minute and 13 seconds down on the general classification which meant they weren’t really going to um let him go all the way to the finish. We headed to the cat 3 climb about 3.3 km climb averaging 4.4% picnic pasta. Now we’re looking to try and set things up for Oscar on our breakaway quartet. Despite Johansson’s issues with his rear wheel were pressing on at the front and at the worst possible moment we had cowgate as the cows crossed the road brought the pelaton to a halt over the summit. Ventil taking maximum points in the king of the mountains but Victor Vuli of Fland was already the king of the mountains champion in this year’s race. We headed to Killili and our breakaway was still clear. This meant it canceled out those bonus seconds for the Pelaton even though they were closing and closing fast. Tron Shawn took the 3 seconds. The Pelaton behind would come through Capilli and start the steep climb of Caffili Mountain 1.4 km in length averaging 9.4% and this then completely shifted the dynamic for the general classification. Remco apore after a huge turn from Ethan hater launched his move didn’t quite go then it was Alfonso Ulleio followed by Oscar on fourth at 4 seconds quaguar was doing a great job keeping the general classification riders under control and right crested the summit still in the lead on the descent remco aanapool one last ditch big effort to try and get clear of Roman Gregoire though was straight on him. It was quite a select group but it would swell in numbers as they headed towards Cardiff. Gregoire was managing the group and just had latched himself onto Remco a through the flam and the breakaway were holding on but it would be touch and go into the finish if they could try and stay clear. Julian Alfalipe had attached himself to the wheel of Olaf Koi. Gregoire would have to be careful. There was a momentary lull in the breakaway. Fred Wright on the back was looking back over his shoulder. Tron on the front. Could they take it all the way to the line? Fred Wright launched his move first trying to attempt Tron Shawn to launch it to the line though. The lead out from Matt Brennan and Olaf Koi threaded the needle, came through like quicks and the man in the red jersey took his third stage win of this year’s tour of Britain ahead of Sam Watson with Fred Wright hanging on for third. Roman Guangard though the 22year-old Frenchman victorious here in the tour of Britain. [Music] Olaf Koy making it over the tough Welsh parkour to take a third stage win and with it securing that red jersey. A big day for Garin Thomas in front of home crowds. Understandably emotional Roman Gregoire takes this year’s tour of Britain ahead of Remco a Julian Alfalipe in third. Oscar Onley takes fourth. Parleio Vanilla Mama Bilpa and Civicov our top 10. Our top three of Palama FDJ takes the tour of Britain ahead of Remco Apollo and former winner Julian Alfalipe in third. We get together [Music]
