There are some bins there. Yeah, we didn’t um we’re not desperate for a bin, but we got a couple of um motels to dispose of. So, we’re making our way on down a little bit further along the coast. Turn left. It’s 20. This is what 23°. It’s not cold out. No, it’s warm, isn’t it? Left. Turn left. Oh, yeah. We We just veer on around here. Look. Yeah. Right. We go. Oh, look. What’s on today? Oh, they got the um Oh, what actually? Oh, seaweed. Seaweed and chicken on this. Anybody want seaweed and roast chicken for lunch? Yeah, they do. Yeah. Oh, they don’t market. Marquette with veg. Oh, nice. Little market over on the other side round by the square. Look at that old church here as well. Yeah. Oh, make sure no one’s going to cross. That’s all right. They got all the flags out here. That nice. Yeah. Oh, you can get a Union Jack to wave. Yeah. A little. There we go then. Yeah, it’s really pretty. I’m I’m impressed. He parked his Oh, did he wasn’t paying attention. Turn right. Take the next right. 100 yards. I can see the sign from here. Right, let’s get ready to turn in. So, like a fuel station right outside as well. Look, there’s the camping car park here. Here we go then. Right on the edge of the town. You have reached your destination. There’s actually um Yeah, let them out. Yeah, we’ll let them out. Lovely. I go over the code, don’t we? Got the cold. Right then. There we go then. There’s the entrance. It looks all nice. [Music] Yeah. You know, I just said to Caroline, we’re going to kind of bear in mind the fact that we can actually pay for 5 hours. So, we’re going to Oh, we’re going to get in position. Caroline’s getting ready with a code. That’s it. He’s going to do the code. So, we’ll get power on. And there was another place a little bit further on down the coast. So, we’ll see how we get on today. We got 5 hours. Time for a bit of a ride. Just to get on the app, activate the code. Let’s just pump in the number. Lovely. Right, in we go then. Perfect. I We’ll go and have a little uh sneak around just to get an overall picture of what it’s like. If that’s like a little river running down there, I don’t want to be there. No mosquitoes. Yeah. Looks a little bit overcast over that way today. So, we’re hoping it’s going to stay dry and uh get out on the bikes. So, we’ll see what happens. There we go. The bikes are ready. We are ready. Wa. Right. It’s first ride. First ride. But it’s Sunday, so we’re just going to have a nice little gentle bimble and uh try and head out towards the coast out here and uh see what we can see basically. So uh just get a feel for it. So you’ll have to bear with us on this one. This kind of like made a little voyage. So we’re just having a nice little Sunday morning bimble. Straight away, I think we’re into some sort of uh market. And it looks like there’s a lot of people walking, so we might have to dismount on this one. All [Music] right. Okay. was actually the street. Come on. [Music] A lot of activity and a lot of vegetables. Oh, sausages smell nice. Oh, look at them sausages. All right, I think we’re nearly out on the end of the PL already. That’s surely immense beach. Look at that. Wow. I’m going to ride down and ride back up. Right. Caroline’s got a red flashing light horn, so uh I can spot her a mile away. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Yeah, it’s a bit of a bit of a random one today. Then we’re just uh getting a feel of it, getting back into the vibe and just having a just a gentle breezy one along the coast. But uh it’s nice out here apart from a bit windy. Bit windy. Hello. [Music] Oh, little bar. Time for a drink already. Still a little low. Oh, that’s pretty nice. Oh, Point limit. [Music] He’s got a long neck. Big uh superized geese down on the edge of the pond. [Music] [Music] Hell. Wow. Cher from the wind. Some of them sections were proper breezy blowing. Oh, back into it again. We’re just sort of breaking out on this sort of flat area. Not sure exactly where we’re going to Well, I think it just goes down to like a beach. So, we’re just going to get down on this beach. It’s uh really flat sand. It’s definitely uh definitely a lunar landscape. Look at it. My god. My I just didn’t realize it. This is really big. This beach [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] and went for the cl I think she’s gone went for the climb, but it’s a little bit steep and a little bit bumpy. So, it’s another little push up here, I think. Heat. [Applause] [Applause] Heat. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Got to be a little bit careful. The dunes are fragile, so got to be careful where you’re uh stepping in. We get the one transform you think. [Music] Hey. Hey. [Music] Back on a little bit of gravel. [Music] Yeah, we just we’ve actually done a little loop. We’re back to that little bor. So, we’ll cycle on back down this one then. [Music] [Applause] Loads of bungalows with tractors and boats. They’ve all got their little uh tractors, [Music] shellfish boats. Um, it’s a pretty nice area. Loads of uh different shaped kind of houses, different colors, and it’s real sort of uh symmetrical. All the streets kind of go right up to the beach. Yeah, we just done a right turn. Um, back up the other way was I can see the market in the town. So, we’re not far from the market. Believe it or not, we’re actually back. So, there’s the end of St. German uh a pl. And uh we’re actually we’ve actually arrived back. How did we do that? At the camping car park. So, we’ve just I’m going to go left here. Okay. So, we’re gonna um we’re going to carry on. We’re sort of uh feeling a bit cheated like we haven’t been that far. So, uh I said to Caroline, “What what do you think?” She said, “Well, I’m quite enjoying the ride.” So, we’re going to um press on and uh go turn right this time from the little town down here. It’s the Avenue Jersey. This one views the Jersey in a minute from the coast. [Music] M. [Music] Yeah, we’re just uh trying to get to the next little town. So, we’re just taking another route across the dunes. It’s almost turned into a little bit of bike packing as well. We’ve had to do a little uh a few little pushes through the dunes, but I think we’re uh getting out to the more inhabited area again now. We can I can see some uh camper cars, some motor homes up here parked up. So, uh whe there’s another um free air, I don’t know. We’ll have to have a look. [Music] So, it’s it’s under the barrier and uh we’ve come out to the beach again. There’s a lot of campers here. That is wonder. And there’s a restaurant up there. I wonder if they can um overnight here. Don’t know. That’s where we are then. Ah, so we now are um so we’ve been out to that point. Now we’re coming over this direction. Yeah. Over here. That’s where we are at the moment. There’s some soul here. Lots of crabs, shells, prawns, moles, scolops. Loads over it here. All right. Oh, look at this beach. I’ve got plenty of soul. Wa. Right, I’m going to ride down again. Look at the size of this beach. This is ridiculous. Wow. This just goes on for just goes on for miles. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Oh yeah, this um the old um wind cart thing. Yeah. Wow. That’s a bloody That’s That’s quite a big one that ain’t it? It is. Yeah. Just looking at the uh GMC’s here. Looking really nice. Little GMC convention by the looks of it. Oh, it’s like a American car meet up in it. That is really cool. What you finding here on the beach? Incredible. Look at that. The chrome wheels. Fantastic. Right, we’re just I was just going to check out the restaurant. cuz it looks like a nice little place to uh park up, I must admit. Get away with an overnighter. Oh, it is a bit sandy here. Oh my god. Slidy. Oh, watch the cars. There’s uh sand all over the road. Blown up. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] So, we just spotted this uh big cat. Do you reckon it’s going? I don’t know. It’s that big silver bucket. Uh well, I’ve done the transaction. It’s like 12. Here it goes. Oh, yes. It’s happened. It’s happened. Yeah. Cool. That’s all right. That’s a reasonable size to go in the bag. Right. Stuff out in the bag. In the bag. Wow. Nice. That is the trouble with cycling. You get super hungry. Bread on the side of the road. It’s got to be done, isn’t it? Absolutely. There’s the sign. Brettville surre pl just exited. But we’re going to go up the road and then do a right and then right again back to the uh car park. It’s about 3.3 I think it is. So not too bad. [Music] [Music] [Music] Okay, it’s uh take take three. We’re back again. Oh my god. Well, that was good. Oh, so we uh completed about just over 9 miles, I think. So, it wasn’t a bad little run. Um just chucking the bikes back on the tray. So, it’s uh pretty straightforward. And uh yeah, all good.
