Welcome to highlights of stage 15 of the Gua Espña from Vagado to Montfort de Lemos. Relaxed all round at the start for UE Emirates. Multiple teams unsurprisingly warming up and also a relaxed looking Tom Peacock. Elia Vivani on the rollers there. Julia Pelisari in the white jersey and autographs all round. It was going to be a big day for this man. No stage win just yet for Mads Pison, but still looking good in green. So on the menu for stage 15, it was going to be a very punchy start indeed. 167.8ks, 3,200 m of elevation, but all of the climbs at the very start. As you can see, a hard ramp up the first category climb over a second cap and then a slightly flatter run into line in Montforte de Limos. It was going to be an active start and ultimately a big break was going to go clear. But two men that punched clear in search of mountains points. Jvine in the mountains jersey and Louis Vika. Jvine took the first climb. He also took the second climb ahead of a Vika on the second climb. Vineorov in third there. So Jayvine extending his lead in the polka dot jersey to 61 points. But there was a 44 rider group making at the front of the race and the chase behind or the pace setting shall we say behind was left in the hands of Visma Lisa Bike. A lot of work being done by Wilco Kelderman and a Dylan Fonbal. Meanwhile, Matts Pettison was thinking about his strategy but he had four teammates in the move. Bernard Chicone Gabia and Carlos Verona as well. Meanwhile, it was a relatively relaxed day for Yonas Bingo in the red jersey. A protester unfortunately ambushed the pelaton. Couple of riders came down including Jav Romo, but thankfully the man from Mobistar was back up and soon rejoined the pelaton with 34ks to go. Add two riders out in front. Been in front for a long time. Vine and Bvika went through the intermediate sprint point. Vika taking 20 points there. And then Mr. Mads Pedison just drifting off the front of the pelaton to hoover up. the remaining points on offer at this intermediate point. It was Jake Stewart just behind there for IP, but minimal effort required to take the remaining points on the road there for Mads Pison. So, a good day so far, but the break still had a lead of 1 minute and 26 seconds, but the Pelaton at this point with 33ks to go were a distant 13 and a half minutes behind. The gap started to tumble under the impetus of Little Trek and the attack started to come. Santiago Burago attacking on one of the short climbs. Egan Banal also there. Eventually a group of seven riders went clear in pursuit of Vika and Vine. There’s confirmation of the intermediate sprint points. Vika from Vine from Pison. Pedison now with a lead. Significant lead in fact. 207 points to the good. And all relaxed as you can see. Our daily wave and a kiss from the man in red. Yonas Vingigo looking relaxed ahead of rest day. Eventually everything came back together at the front. Vika and Vine were caught by Olar Pedison, Frigo, Dunar, Vitraago, Sheffield and Bernal. Two riders there from the Inos Grenaders, but the pressure was on as we headed in to the last couple of kilometers. Vika on the front. Jay Vine a last roll of the dice for this man. He’d been in front all day. He was flanked immediately by Egon Banal, but it was going to come back together for what would be a fascinating sprint finale. Into that final right turn they go just 350 m. Oh, and a big crash and it’s Sheffield who’s down going out on the corner. It’s Frigo at the front. Gets a gap, but here comes Pearson trying to come off his wheel is M. Pearson at the front in the center. Pearson in the green. Person all day long. Mar Person finally gets his stage win by brute force. Full control hot. He was hungry. Just look at what winning at Lavoa means to Mads Pison. He’s been so so consistent in the hunt every single day. Four riders from his team with him. Bernard, Chicone, Gabra, Jabir, and Verona all did their thing. Congratulations there from Eddie Dunar as well. And coming home just inside the top 10, Magnus Sheffield after picking himself up off the floor and then the remnants of that large breakaway coming home around 30 seconds behind that lead group. There’s the moment that Sheffield laid it down on that corner. It was Michael Frigo of IP who opened up the sprint just in the slipstream of the Italian was Matt Pison. Perfectly timed. But when he opened up the taps, there was nothing anybody could do about the raw power, the hunger, the belief, the might of Mads Pison. One last check around and victory was his first win in the VA this year for Mads Pedison. There’s that moment again. Just look at what it means. There’s a real chase behind in fact as well from Bahrain Victorious leading home the bunch at 13 and a half minutes. They’re defending the top 10 position of Torchston Train but this man the man in red Yonis Vingo looking pretty relaxed having some congratulations there from Seus. So confirmation of the stage result. Matt Pedes ahead of Orisa, Frigo, Burago, Dunbar, Bernal, Vikica, Vine, Sheffield, and Seat. The way the team worked the whole day, five guys in the first group and yeah, when the the two guys they went away on the second KM, they they were really strong and got a lot of time and and the boys, they were working so hard to to make it possible. So yeah, in the end it makes it Even nicer to win when everyone is looking on us at us and everyone knew our plan and still be succeed with a victory. That’s absolutely indeed incredible. No real change at the top end of the GC. Lingard still leads Almeida by 48 seconds with PCO in third, but Junior Lurf moved up to ninth place after being in the breakaway. So, another day in the red jersey for team Visma Lisa Bikes, Yonas Vinkigo, but it will be a welcome rest day that is for sure. So, the points classification, Matt Pison now with a big lead, 98 points in front of Yonas Vinger with Julon moving up into third. So, solid in green for Matts. Big smiles all round, the pressure relieved after two weeks of toil, of effort. he finally gets his reward. So after the rest day, we head into stage 16. Let’s take a look at that from Puyo Castro de Elville. 167.9 km. And we do have another hilltop finish. Not a full-on mountain stage, but still 3,200 m of elevation. Could be one for the break and the possibility of another tussle at the top end of the GC. Enjoy your rest day. Don’t miss state 16.

What a gay sport. REAL MEN WATCH NASCAR.
So they thought they could beat Pedersen is that it?
Actually, a cop ambushed the peloton, not a protester.
Sound levels are completely wrecked, this needs re-uploading
To the person who thought the drum beat soundtrack was needed, please note that it isn't.
Nice to see some other real flags flying at the finish line with the exception of one.
So sad that they can’t say Israel Premier Tech they have to say IPT….. bowlng down to the role-playing protesters
Good to see a great cyclist win on trek bike. Thank you for sharing.
F'ng protesters, putting the lives and careers at risk. Happy to see all get up and continue
That was easy for Mads!
Hoping the police man did his duty and gave the protester a kicking before arresting him.
Not the police officer causing the crash he was trying to avoid
Protestors make me like israel more every day, thanks for that
OMG, UAE did not win today. What a disaster😂
FREE PALESTINE…but also maybe don't run full pelt into the peloton whilst doing so? 🤷♂
Just lock up all these protestors.
It doesnt seem like the TV prod. team of the Vuelta are doing great with yearly evaluation process. Same issues this year, even the TNT commentators trying to hide their frustration with questionable tv graphics, camera selection, action in any front, key points, time gaps…i think they can improve as its a GT
By the way 😂❤😂
Isaac Del Toro won a Spanish one-day race today (Sunday).
🏆🏆🏆
The flag waving is getting out of hand. Not enjoying watching this one at all. So dangerous for the riders.
Palestine sucks
We have to help our left wing brothers protest. * Defund the police * Vote left wing * throw soup on Western paintings in museums * sit in the road
Poor protesters. Why don't they go to Israel.
Viva Israel! 👑🇮🇱♾️
The flag waivers are nothing else but Knucklehead's. 😂
Keep those bloody "party people" away from the riders. They are terroristically dangerous!
Send them home
Vuelta 2026 should not proceed if the safety of all rider will not be secured what a shame to this state this is sport period.
the palestine protestors are absolutely unbearable
