of going into the Grand Final first up in the starting order first Rider to tackle the new section one extreme level of difficulty th far here in C Grand Final always test the Riders even more some familiar elements to start us off though in section one outbound Direction used in uh q1 also uh the other direction section three in Q2 slightly different configuration though for this Grand final two directions for the Riders and only 60 seconds as well no time for deliberation Fay taking his time early on and in the ground final you just don’t have that time and unfortunately for him he out side of the section anyway not a convincing start alere didn’t make it too far already performing exceedingly well to make it into the top four on alare unexpectedly so as well first Rider into the sections tonight his two previous results that in the ex Tri World Championship were both ninth and last including his second appearance when he suffered that knee injury for’s third appearance at World Championship level and he’s a grand finalist Gabriel Mar next up third in super Pol despite posting a clean took just a little too long about it picked by 610 of a second by high State section one as Mar chased his first victory at World Championship level his closest rival Pim buo still to come and Tony B oh Mar straight down to a five rushing a little there so failure for f a failure for Mar as well and an early opportunity and Tony B taken advantage over Gabriel Mar after is p haime buo winner at the season opening exra Madrid looking for his first victory since then second place at Fina noad last weekend good work on the back wheel here with the turn but the landing for him too is not precise enough and it will be a failure for bu how many times have we seen it in recent rounds where there’s a section failed by three of his predecessors only for Tony Bo to go on and complete it and take an early Advantage whenb builds a big lead he can ride with comfort and that’s when he’s at his best last couple of rounds it’s been Midway through the ground final at least before B has been able to open his Advantage here he has the opportunity as early as section one couple of tricky turns new for the Grand Final that have caugh out the Riders thus far let’s see what Tony B has got to offer technical challenge rather than a big step this is the kind of stuff that Tony B lives off all day long in the training ground makes the landing nicely now turn outbound Direction complete in just 20 seconds as well this is looking good for Tony B section one still plenty of Peril on the way to the exit gate but B has this for the taking the Grand Final under control already it’s got q1 he toped super pole he’s your 2025 world champion and he leads exra after section one perfect ride from B his Rivals getting problems Tony Bo is clean and leads by five marks [Music] already on now section to these wooden crates again totally different configuration to the earlier stages and again on Al first up level with marel and busto and an opportunity still to be on the podium tonight Sanchez just getting himself into position to Mark Fay’s progress 6 seconds for section two confidence [Applause] opening little bit worse for be there for Fay is his backside off the side of the section as well as the re [Music] Mard fails to make it up the main step though so so it is a failure in section two for AR now far again continuing the trend of those recent rounds where the fourth Rider to make the final finds the going very very tough at this stage Gabriel Gabriel Marcel gabri or C have been worthy opposition at times this season do miss Adam ret from the championship after his retirement in February shame nobody could convince him to see out the 2025 campaign because he was still Contender a contender for a medal ranking went out on a high at X trial Barcelona Gabriel M failure in section one looking to open an early Advantage now over Arn now far for a place on the podium now see Podium finisher at each of the last three rounds third in Barcelona and vad with a second place in stong in between this the step that F failed how about Gabriel M wedging himself in onto the a frame to try and ride it up it and use it as a bit of a kicker to push himself on forward but he can’t get the front wheel high enough and he jumps back down it’s a failure in section two for Gabriel Mar [Music] H busto then with an opportunity to take the lead over Mar wasn’t until later on in fad last weekend that he was able to move into second place looked in the first half of the ground final as though Tony Bo is going to be Crown World Champion there in Austria bu’s hopes of the title ended by Tony B in q1 tonight bone not far from The Summit in section two but his assistant has to catch the front wheel so failures all around in the opening third of this Grand Final course for Fay Mar and busto and again Tony Bo with opportunity to take a more commanding lead he’s five marks up after section one where his Rivals all failed and Bo was clean forar and bow also failing section two BO with a chance to increase that five Mark [Music] advantage in every phase of competition at the last two rounds and this one thus far topping q1 despite his section one error this the main step of section two then three Riders have failed to make it to the top how about Tony bug crowding C have come to see the crowning of a king in 2025 even Tony B can’t SM out this obstacle failure in section two for him as well so marks this his lead eight sections completed totaling up all of the riders only one has been successfully carried out that was Tony b in section one three failures in section one four failures in section [Music] two back to our now faray for section three The Rock section we’ve seen was section one in Q2 section three back in q1 so against some familiar elements but in a different configuration and in both directions in this Grand Final now for made a good enough start but speeds out of the course boundaries his third conceptive failure one wonders whether he might be better off taking his time accepting that that 60 seconds might elapse but gaining a bit more experience of these Grand Final sections because falling out of them a couple of steps in he’s probably not benefiting too much at the moment from this Grand Final opportunity take nothing away from him Mar and B failing the opening two time ticking on this Grand Final Gabriel Mar section three 10 marks pleas name decent work there from Mar he manages to land at the other side whereas now fell through the crck between two of the rocks and down he has needed a couple of marks though already might count against him on the return [Music] Direction just over half the time [Music] remaining deep this into any of the sections we’ve seen for Mar thus far in the Grand [Applause] Final 15 seconds to go needs to get a move on here familiar ground now as additional of time makes it home with 3 seconds to spare first completed Grand Final section for him two Mark score a 12 Mark total three now for and finally the deadlock is broken in the battle for second place for5 Mar 12 B on 10 but with section three still to tackle I’m winner of the opening round of this season had three second places since then as well as a third in and miserable KN down in seventh place in Barcelona only one mark in the outbound direction for chance clear of for second place here first section any of the bottom three have been able to complete second drop mark one for leaning there back on an even k then his direct rival [Applause] [Music] good work on the back wheel with more time in hand will retain his position in the starting order ahead of section four 12 for bu 12 for M 15 for fet three behind them Tony five marks his Advantage after section one could extend that lead to as many as seven if he can clean section three cleaning the opener no rider yet has cleaned this one Mar and buo each needed two marks to make it [Music] through Fu wow making that look easy pressing once again needed two marks in the outbound Direction bow needed one and then took another on the way back B still clean little wary there on the opening step but still looking [Music] good ready with section in hand basically at this stage another two marks to that lead at halfway stage he’ll be satisfied with the way the grand finals gone th far time [Music] tight 10 seconds to go but Bo second three for breakfast his second clean in three sections it’s a seven Mark lead now for Tony B B on five b on 12 Mar on 12 for on 15 halfway through tonight’s Grand Final section four next up new direction for the Grand Final on now for a game first in the seeding order and now three marks behind Gabriel Marci and Hae buo he’s failed all three so far let’s see if we can get a little deeper into this [Applause] one very a positioning himself for a big leap but ultimately the front wheel drops down and now he’s in trouble got to get the front wheel out will take him up for footing But ultimately he accepts that section four has got the better of him it’s a five Mark score gabri four consecutive Fiasco of the Grand Final 20 marks the progressive tally for an now faray gabri Gabriel can’t lose his starting position here 12 marks after three sections tied with high mayto that’s where the big rivalry is the two Riders both destined to fight it out for the world title particularly if Tony B at some point decides enough is enough 19 World titles in the round 20 could well be enough to convince Tony [Music] B he’s done enough Gabriel Mar makes the early leap here in section four [Music] team only a single direction for this one Mar will be grateful for that because it’s taken him a fair amount of time just to make it this far build up some momentum there on the back wheel the landing nicely 20 seconds to go more test to come in this one as well lose too much time th far one mark for leaning that puts him on three any further drop marks will be failure now but m is true with 4 seconds to spare with three marks on his account completing back-to-back sections after those failures in sections one and two for2 Mar section clear of him on 15 but in the battle for second it’s all about what Hae busto can do here beat Mar and tonight’s Grand Final it will put him beond Mar’s reach second in the championship all of our major rankings before we go to Talon [Applause] so Gabriel Mar Tak three marks it’s been better for Hae th far unable to capitalize fa one two riding up that one nicely it’s clean by my Reckoning for v in section four he punches the air with the light he certainly thinks so too that’s now confirmed giving him a three Mark lead over Gabriel M with two sections [Music] forcing Tony B to come back and defend his Advantage which still stands at seven marks over highe bow though with a ring hand both still to complete [Music] section Tony B the 30 8y old the oldest rider in the field 19 consecutive World titles practically as if he were riding a unicycle there keeping the bike on the side of the section urging It Forward all on the back wheel [Music] Landing is precise is clean B wants the same also want to avoid any failures that would bring him back to the battle behind [Applause] himly avoiding a mar leaning there it will be a clean in section four couple of times was on the edge of dropping a mark and it’s the third clean in four sections in this Grand fin anony B defensive seven Mark Advantage B on five bow on 12 marity 15 and for 20 two section [Music] remaining first daylight that’s opened up between second and third places Maran have scored identically in sections one to three section five on now for first up again a new direction for the Grand Final faray has failed all four thus far will he have any better luck here First Step takes him for a mark for leading [Music] [Applause] [Music] both directions for this one in the Grand [Music] Final wedged up there at the top of the section but good work to spin the bike around taking another Mark for leaning going to run out of time [Music] [Applause] though and it’s a failure anyway for a falls back but at least he made it deeper into that one his fifth consecutive Fiasco as he learns just how tough it is to go up against the likes of Boer and Mar a great yard stick the top three in the world this evening for only hopes of a Podium now rest on a clean in section six and two failures for Gabriel Mar so that looks relatively unlike should be four place for a tonight done well just to be in King Q2 [Applause] really now it’s about fading hopes of a victory tonight for Gabriel Mar any further drop marks will rule him out in the battle with Tony B and can he recover three marks Against Time [Music] section [Applause] five mistakenly said this one had to be completed in both directions Only One Direction at this stage of competition it’s section six that will be completed in two direction finish the course [Music] next 40 seconds to go for say gets the bike up and tries to follow the example of Fay just to slide the bike ground on the sump bring the front wheel into position next is Step that c out are now can make it he’ll be with of the exit gate he’s got 15 seconds 15 Mar gab he AR still on the back wheel but not quite forward has to jump back for another go and now he’s tight on time Mar has made it I think we’ll wait for confirmation he congratulates himself so it looks as though Mar has been given the N it was tight in the end there with a three Mark score with no room for error and with no tide left on the clock either will not be victorious tonight just in the hunt in the battle with just for second exra cow now far will be fourth Tony will finish in the top two and if haime bu were to fail this one Bo will be victorious his next section five for high 12 marks his score he leads Marill by six but Marill with a ride in hand better keep for victory whil also defending his [Applause] lead up and onto the sun same as Gabriel Mar before him need a mark for leaning 20 seconds to go going to be as fight for as it was for Mar make it up in one goo is up and on the back wheel as well so better performance for buo in section five that it was for Gabriel Mar it’s a two M score 14 for B 18 for Mar fourks the gap between them coming into Tony on five marks can win exra cow the inaugural Edition by completing either one of the two remaining sections section five and even a three Mark score in this one would be good enough for B to seal victory [Music] already confirmed 2025 world champion in the same town that he was confirmed 2024 trial GP world champion and B in control of this night almost throughout aside from section one back in q1 of [Applause] course now how will Bo approach this he can afford a take Marks here as his Rivals have Bo prefers to try it on the back wheel it’s exhibition stuff from Tony [Applause] B still clean in section five a section five that cost his teammate Mar three marks and high Tony B on the night Crown 2025 world champion twice is unable to make the main step of section five he’s running out of time and it’s going to be a failure in SE can fight with Tony B unbelievable we will go down to section six for the deci Bo with a four Mark Advantage but a shock result there in the penultimate section as Tony B ultimately Runs Out of Time three attempts to make it up and he couldn’t quite get it where he wanted it hav been superb at the start of the section Gabriel makes back to but it’s I makes back three in section five and is now just four marks away from Tony B with one sectioning two direction here again we have seen some of these elements previously in section two super pole and oh now for a five failures already can sign to Fourth position this ride is just for priz seven marks back from M and unstainable Advantage for third position [Music] tonight and now far’s first taste of the ground final he’s been a little bit beyond his reach one mark for leaning [Music] there outbound Direction completed main step now of the return Direction was so so tough in q1 it’s already been given us a failure for a misunderstanding the ca there by the looks of [Music] things so the night will end with a consecutive failure for our now baptism a fire at this level of competition but take nothing away from what’s been a brilliant performance from him did really well in q1 despite that disadvantageous first starting position to move ahead of dues Hager and pie in the seeding order and then beat Bono as well in Q2 fourth position comfortably his best ever performance in the ex World Championship [Music] gab two previous last place finishes in ninth back in 2018 his last outings [Music] so section six four marks between Mar and bow four marks between bow and B must say you can afford a maximum of one dropped Mark in section six any more than that and he will be consigned to third place tonight out bound Direction looked okay from faray that’s the disadvantage of being first out and now Marc has been reminded by the referee of the course requirements at this stage [Music] to go Mar efficient work th far the commentator first drop Mark of the section any further drop Mark and he will be left third place need be CLE return second Mar lands on the down for a five to stop the machine from incurring any damage it will be third place tonight for Gabriel Mar cannot catch H buo seven marks better though than our now for extending his Podium run fourth consecutive rostrom finish for Gabriel Mar three successfully completed sections sections three four and five bu making up three marks in section four one in section five guaranteed place tonight and second in the world championship Hoke can he now challenge Tony B single score better needed to keep his hopes alive so far he’s clean making Swift work because he’s got to challenging return Direction still [Music] [Applause] come 20 to go is up and still clean might for Tony to do some work here to claim this Victory but less than 10 seconds to go kicking on urging the bike forward a brilliant finish to the night foro his second clean of the Grand Final 14 marks his finishing score Tony B on 10 with a thumb up and a smile for the cameras he’s given it everything his deficit to stretching back to section one failed both clean opened up another two marks in section three but squandered three last time out in section five with a surprise failure on the final step so the permutations are straightforward now if Tony B completes section successfully he is Victorious at xow a faure and he will drop to Second there’s no in between he won’t have a TR [Music] tonight’s got to get this one [Music] right so far so good he can afford to take marks for safety if he needs them what he can’t afford is to make any major errors two marks already for Tony bone it’s been given us a fight now Hae B wins the inaugural extra cow and Tony B’s 19th World title winning celebration is spoiled by backto back failures at the end of the Grand Final Bo is continuing on whether this is just for the crowd or whether it’s so that he can appeal to Jordi Sanchez after the fact I don’t know Bo proving that he could have done the Section and he could have done it with a two Mark score is celebrating but Jordy Sanchez has already put up his hand giving Bo a fight Mark score put’s waiting for confirmation a right smile on his face the referee and the section Observer discussing this with Tony Bo they don’t want to discuss it both fell forward took a mark for leaning and a mark for footing pulled the bike back and continued on to complete the [Music] section I assume that the discussion is touching that module after falling forward that presumably he wasn’t allowed to and it looks like K will be your Victor but the referee the SE Observer Tony is trying to get in on the disc as well and that now looks as though it’s been amended to a three Mark score and Tony B will be victorious well a rather clumsy finish in section six nobody knows quite what to make of this now I guess we’ll find out on the podium the scores have come through as a three Mark score for Tony b in section six it doesn’t look like the Riders themselves know the situation as yet Al kavistan gas gas team manager goes over to congratulate his man H buo handshake between buo and B we certainly know that Gabriel Mar is third and our is fourth [Music] well let’s hear from your EXT trial winner here in the inaugural edition of extra cow [Music] well uh congratulations for the victory how was T night yeah I’m very happy I ride very well on the all the night I have incredible fing with the bag and I’m very very happy thank you so Hae confirmed in the end as your winner and you saw the graphic a couple of moments ago correcting that score to a f mark tally in section six for Tony B a failure for exceeding course boundaries and Devastation for B he looked as though he was going to uh take his sixth consecutive victory really B will come to R the failure in section five three attempts at the main step of that one he just couldn’t get up and ultimately under pressure in section six well was certainly a two Mark score title a third given but so nice I won the F La just in the last part of the race I lose the race in the last section but today is the most important I take the the title happy with the season again super happy with the the world champion again so it’s amazing it’s a dream thanks thank you congratulations hit from Tony Bo for the first time after claiming the 2025 fym XT trial World Championship ultimately he’s such a great competitor that he will be disappointed to have lost and to have seen his latest winning streak come to an end five consecutive victories from shury to vad last weekend but it’s I buo who comes out on top tonight confirming his silver medal in the world championship and Gabriel Mar will be third extra of Nations next up and no doubt who will be the favorites for that whatever their lineup frankly Spain in the season finale in Talon where it would just be about a Revenge mission for Tony B [Music] beaten by a single Mark in tonight’s Grand Final after a late collapse you’d have to say because section five was completed by both Mar and busto busto cleaning section six before B then suffered an unexpected failure so Hae buo wins on 14 marks head of Tony B on 15 Gabriel Mar on 23 and our now for on 30 your other finalist the bottom four positions settled by the results from q1 where Boba scored 11 Jack P 21 sandre Hager 22 and Ugo defres 25 this is what it does in terms of the world championship Tony B suffering his second defeat of the campaign but only needed a top per seven finish in order to be confirmed at world champion h on 99 even with the two dropped points he is comfor clear of Gabriel Mar and that settles silver and bronze fourth place overall still up for grabs because B Caz has not made up yet the point deficit to Adam rager despite the now retired veterans absence from the last three rounds time to get up onto your Podium top three in this year’s World Championship as St as the top three for the last two years and they are your rostrom Trio once again here tonight Tony Bo it’s second place in extra but he’s wearing the traditional world champion t-shirt showing the number 37 that includes his Tri GP world championships as well as his ex successes 19 in the ex trial World Championship 18 in Tri GP and that’s without mentioning the uh TI he’s won in the trial of Nations and the ex trial of Nations Hae buo top step of the [Music] podium first time in a single season that he’s won more than one round really a victory that came out of nowhere victory of his career looked under control for Tony B seven marks up with only two sections remaining but two fail that really is a surprise Gabriel M with third place same result as in shamb as in Barcelona as in vad fourth consecutive podium in the 19th of his career second place for Tony B Podium number 107 in his 120th ex trial appearance Victorious 27th career Podium third in succession win number six after Paris 2018 Andora Lea 2022 V oad 23 Talon 24 Madrid back in December first round of this 2025 World Championship season and now Victory here in cow you do rather feel that at the moment just those victories are comprised of Tony Bose mistakes rather than anything else but you’ve got to be in it to win it and Marc had already fallen by the wayside by buo keeping on the pressure to the last only four drop marks in the final four sections and ultimately that’s enough for him to pit Tony Bo by a single Mark brilliant finish for haime busto at least but the night does belong to Tony B as he claims his 19th World title your Podium Trio here in C Hae buo Tony Bo and Gabriel Mar
