I’d personally good full sus unless you specifically want a hardtail. Also consider the kind of trails you are riding. The Ariel is an enduro bike which excels on rugged terrain/downhill. That’s a good spec for the price though.

If there is a choice, a medium spec full sus. You can always upgrade the components if you really need to but you can’t add a rear suspension. It will also give you more options of what to ride, IMV.

Where do you ride? I vote full squish as you can always setup a cheaper hard tail later, but cheaper fun full squish isn’t a thing
