Hey everyone
Long time lurker
Just had a question for any mechanic or clued up rider
Is it possible to have mudguards installed (full length) on bikes with suspension fork
I am considering the above bike which I want to use for commuting but having full length mudguard is essential for me.
Grateful for your help.

I’ve never really ever seen a full length one and I’m not sure it’s available. You probably can something together but it wouldn’t be ideal.
Is your fork crown drilled? If you have that eyelet you can get creative but if not your options will be limited.
Get some P clamps of the same diameter as your fork and you can mount the fender stays.
I DIYed some P clamps out of some fencing material from the hardware store. It’s a little janky but a proper p clamp will work much better. [photo](https://photos.app.goo.gl/jd92wCTkSuUYq8HP7)
They aren’t full fenders but I’ve heard good things about [these](https://ridepdw.com/collections/fenders/products/sodapop-fenders)
According to RockShox you can: https://support.rockshox.com/hc/en-us/articles/4412332426779-What-fenders-are-compatible-with-RockShox-Rudy-XPLR
Yeah I think the general market place doesn’t have them.. but I’ve seen some bike brands have them like Spesh

Why do you need the suspension fork for commuting?
I had full-ish length on suspension fork before. I had to be cautious and keep mudguards adjusted maybe once a month? Bumps and vibrations would slowly move them over time. If I missed an adjustment, I could tell by the sound of the tire rubbing when I went over a bump. It was hardly a hassle and I often miss them on wet mornings.
You can put SKS Blumels on suspension forks that have the mounting points on the backs of the cylinders. SKS sells an adapter for that and you may have to bend the fender support rods.
