what they’ve done with obviously with Reynolds and you know it’s like these like he’s not just an actor he’s like rapit level you know like I would watch any film he’s in like if he’s part of a team I want to see that team as well so not just being Welsh like wherever I was from you know and I can see why so many Americans and have sort of fallen in love with it um it’s been hugely beneficial uh for Wales not just Welsh football for Wales as a country I feel like a lot of Americans now know where Wales is not just a small place by London Um and and that’s only that’s only big for us and honestly I’d say everything above has been so so positive but I believe in the long run hopefully uh Welsh football will really be able to benefit from them as well because surely their academy ism is going to improve better players are going to allow better players then to come through and that’s only going to benefit our country.

  1. My dad’s ancestors immigrated to America in the early 1700’s, so I’ve always known where Wales was located, the flag 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and that Cardiff was both the capitol of Wales and where our relatives set sail from…but that was about it😔 Thanks to a number of famous Welsh singers and actors in the ‘60s (Tom Jones, Englebert Humperdink (sp?), Richard Burton, Glynis Johns, etc), I learned that the Welsh people spoke 2 languages and had a rich history of music and folklore, but admittedly…I still knew very little 🫣 Fast forward to the first episode in the first season of”Welcome to Wrexham” and, for whatever reason, I immediately connected 😍❤👏🏻⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and have been a huge Wrexham fan ever since. I also follow the Wales national team now, and I’ve been reading and watching documentaries on YT about Welsh history. Based on comments from various Wrexham groups I belong to online, my story is not unique (regardless of any ancestry connections). I totally agree with this gentleman that the success of Wrexham is helping all of Welsh football AND people getting to know more about Wales in general. Cymru am byth!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿❤🇺🇸
