I bought a new [Ultimate CF SLX 8 Force AXS ](https://www.canyon.com/de-at/rennrad/race-rennrad/ultimate/cf-slx/ultimate-cf-slx-8-force-axs/3560.html?dwvar_3560_pv_rahmenfarbe=R100_P03) a few weeks ago. Now I wanted to start the indoor season, but I think something is not quite right with my setup.

I have installed the same Cassette on my Tacx flux 2 smart as on my Bike, I also installed the 12×142 Axle Adapter, but the Frame seems a be a few millimeters to “wide”. I can still install my bike on it & tight the Axle, but now only half of my gears seem to go smooth, the other ones scratch a bit. I don’t really understand it because i have the same cassette on & the 12×142 Adapter. Can anyone help me here?

If it was Shimano I’d say go into the app and make adjustments to rear derailleur settings, but m/b this will work with SRAM. I have same model bike but have the Tacx Neo and absolutely no problems. Only other issue may be cassette was installed incorrectly, maybe spacers are in wrong order??? I swap between my bike and wife’s 10 speed Tiagra and I’ve gotten sloppy once or twice😔

  2. If you bought the tacx flux, chances are it didn’t come with the XDR hub available. I have the TacX Neo 2T and it doesn’t come with the XDR body which is something they sell separate. I have two axs bikes running XDR hubs, a 21 Ultimate cf slx and a Grizl cf slx, and they don’t fit the trainer until I bought the hub.
