I started my day with a big breakfast in Bratislava, Slovakia. Then I hopped on my bike and rode all the way to the nearest McDonald’s… which happens to be in another country! 🇸🇰➡️🇦🇹 The challenge? Burn as many calories as I eat — breakfast on the way there, and McDonald’s lunch on the way back.
Can I balance it out, or will the burgers win? 🍟

[Music] visiting McDonald in two countries but I have to burn all the calories what I will take in here. So let’s go. So in McDonald’s I ate hash brown what haveund something something calories. I had apple juice what have 130 I think or 106 calories. So let’s say 100 something something. Then I had McMuffin egg and bacon. This has this had something 400 something something. So let’s say and a coffee but espresso have zero. My intake was somewhere somewhere between 700 800 calories. And this I supposed to burn on bicycle in one hour more or less. And my next stop in Hindenburg and Donau is 1 and 1/2 hours of cycling by the maps. So I should be able to burn even more calories. So that means I can have bigger Mac menu in Austria. What would be perfect? So right now we are approaching uh Austrian Slovakian border. We are crossing to Austria and uh so far so good. I’m not feeling tired or anything. It was very short very short route. It was flat all the time. It’s just I’m getting a lot of headwind. What is good for burning calories, but it’s not good for my comfort. [Music] [Music] Allergies are attacking me again. So, welcome to Austria. Right now, we are already in Austria. So far so good. Still feeling very energetic. Weather is nice. It’s not It’s not too windy. It’s not too sunny. There is not a lot of clouds, no rain. Humidity is perfect. Or what more can I wish? [Music] Welcome in the first Austrian village, Wolf Hal or something like this. My German pronunciation definitely is on point. Here they build cycling pad behind gardens. So it’s very convenient. No pedestrians, no cars, no crossroads, no nothing. We are just cycling through. Oh my god, that hash brown is killing me. I still feel it. And I can also smell it from my breath. Oh my god, it is very lovely here. But I see plants. What is causing my allergies? This will be interesting day. So this on the left, these tall plants with this like little yellow pollen on top of it. This this is what I’m allergic for. It’s called amberrosia. In English, I think it’s ragwit, but not those ones. This is corn. On the left, you can see the castle up in the on the mountain. That’s the place where I’m going today. Hindenburg. And this cycle is up up ahead. It’s a mom with a kid. And she just overtook me like nothing, you know. So, we made it to Hindon. Now, the only thing is that I don’t know where the McDonald is. We got just to look for it, but that’s okay. I will find it. So, in the end, I found out that it’s not in Hindul and Dono, but the McDonald’s are in next village. It was just another 5 km. So, so it’s okay. And now my love for you so strong. [Music] I’ve made it. That last part, last stretch of road was, oh my god, the worst. But we made it. [Music] McDonald apple. Too expensive. Come on. It’s like 1 kilo price, but you get one one apple. So in the morning I had bacon and egg McMuffin what is 317 kilo calories hash brown 140 apple juice 106 calories coffee zero. So uh my active kilo calories by cycling is 596 and u total breakfast is 5663. what is surplus of uh 33 calories kilo calories but uh overall calories overall budget calories is uh 215 minus 215 kilo calories. So I’m on good track. So let’s see what lunch will bring me. So my lunch contains signature burger with bacon. Then I went for salad because calories with house dressing. And then I had two cold drinks. I am so tired. [Music] Muslim. [Music] [Music] [Music] I’ve made it to Bratislava. I have last 10 kilometers ahead of me and I’m slowly feeling out of energy. It’s not it’s not so bad, but I definitely feel that I’m tired already. So, in the end, uh my lunch was um 1,171 calories. My breakfast was 563 calories. So, my total budget or total intake in McDonald’s was 1,734. And uh I spent my activity calories was 1,835. my food intake, my McDonald’s uh in intake minus my u activity calories is uh something around – 90 kilo calories for this not exactly what I expected but a little bit better what I expected. So in the end, can you burn as much calories as you as you eat in McDonald’s when you are when you are going to another country? Yes. Answer is yes. Very much on point. All right.
