Trying to remove the crank arm i have basic tools and a crank remover and there is approximately zero threads left. Could I cut it in half with a angle grinder?. I do not care if this damages the cranks, please help me out👍
If youre willing to go scorched earth you can just hack a slot in the crank, but you’ll 100% also hit the BB taper.

Put WD40 on there and ride it.
But of course don’t stand up while riding and maybe exclude trails.

I don’t know if they make em that big but try to helicoil it but I’ve never herd of some one doing that or just wack it off w a hammer and get a new set of cranks.

You could try something like that, I don’t know the English name
Shouldn’t have to destroy anything if you Try a 2 leg bearing puller of the size to suit this application.

Before the bearing puller or cutting, heat with a gun or torch until boiling, then hammer the crank arm out. Or heat it an ride it without the screws for a couple of blocks, but this could involve some risk, as when it comes out, the crank will no longer be there and you might lose balance on the bike. So I personally, having tried both, now always resort to the hammer

10/10 times it comes off with a hammer.
4/10 rimes this ruins the crank arm.
Just don’t hit the frame.

Ball joint remover pickling fork. Or, with the bolt out, just ride it. It won’t be long before it removes itself.

Put the bolt back in loose and ride it around a little bit. The crank will walk off the bottom bracket after a short time. That or use a map torch to heat it up hot.

I had the same on my old Merida and used an angle grinder and new bottom bracket / cranks.. I couldnt get it off otherwise. Also stripped out the threat just like you have.
Basically I just grinded through the crank and into the buttom bracket untill the cranks were in 2 pcs an I could take them off.

I’d personally use a rubber mallet. Start hitting your crank arm from the front, then the back. Right near the end where the pedals mount. 3 hits, then move to the back, 3 hits, back to the front side.

I just got a cheap 12$ 3-jaw bearing puller to remove a damaged crank that i wanted to keep riding on another BB.
Every serious bike shop probably has ione laying around and the job is done in less than 5minutes.

Square head cranks are the easiest to remove. Unbolt both sides like you show in the photo, and just go for a short ride around the block. They’ll fall right off.
