I just posted a different post about getting a new chain and some people were saying my chain was on too tight. In the video I tried to show how much play was in the chain if you guys could let me know if it’s too tight that would be great! Thank you

It’s alright, it may be a little loser but not by much, and it’s gotta stretch in anyway, and that’s on top of it having to mesh to the older driver and chainring
For me personally that is way tight for my liking.

If you hear crinking and binding when cranking, it to tight and then some.

There needs to be a 1/2 inch slack for it to not snap.

If everything spins free it’s fine. It’ll stretch some with use anyway.
It that a bluebird chain? Looks fine. As said by others it will loosen anyways. Maybe get some chain tensioners.
I’ve heard that too tight of a chain will put pressure on your barons and sprocket wearing it down

Spin the crank. If it continues freely for at least a solid rotation or two. Preferably two. Your good.
