How does the lock fit through the rack rails, since one end of the U-portion has a bend?

Such a rad solution. I’ve always fumbled with how to bring along big heavy u locks that I’ve always just avoided them. Do you have a list of recommended u lock brands, models and sizes that fit your rack?
