I posted a few other b.s post and people asking about the bikes, im 37, recently got back into riding with my boys ages (8, 10, and 15) I also have a daughter off in college this year, that being said alot has changed in bmx since I was a kid in the 90s and 2000s wwatchin dave mirra and nyquist and Jamie best wick and Hoffman, etc..ne way I picked these up and fixed them up a little, 2010 verde eon I beleive , had a bent fork, and then a 2015 haro downtown dlx , flat tires needed brakes, and then got a gt for my son for 70 bux..cut all the bars and did all bearings, the verde I've added the most , but I've been enjoying riding again, freecoaster wheel is 100 percent my next buy, , I gotta unlock the roll back without peddling back, its like magic for me🤣😂 best new thing in bmx by far

I’m a 90s/2000s kid. Just turned 37 on the first of august. I got back into BMX 2 summers ago.. I road alot when I was a teen. When I got back into riding.. I went straight for a freecoaster. Got a complete with a freecoaster.
I road the freecoaster for the whole first summer.. it was great but I went back to a cassette.. bc I missed the pedal pressure and the predictability of when I land on my pedals, it will be instant pedal pressure, compared to the slack from the freecoaster.
I’m not trying to discourage you from a freecoaster.. they are amazing!! I just prefer a cassette more. I even enjoy pedaling backwards, on a fakie. It helps me balance and helps with the turn out of the fakie.. just understand that a freecoaster is not for everyone. Especially if you grew up on a cassette.
O and on the gt i added that 3 peice crank, got that 170mm dk crank with American bb on ebay for 40 bux with the shipping and fit right in
9.5 rise bars on the verde , lol was my first purchase!..hahaha stln 9.5 monkey bars , haro came with 8.75 and the gyro makes it feel higher, and yea 21 inch frame next! Haro is 20.3 and verde 20.5 , and I got my kick back seat posts on both to give me that space!..hahaha awesome man, fuckin awesome, and yea bro rip dave mirra, the fuckin tom brady of bmx, ride on brother , feel like a kid again and kinda of eased pressures of fuckin life, brings me back to simpler times eases my mind
