  1. Get a longer tool for a start. You can try getting a torx driver that doesn’t quite fit and tap it in gently with a mallet. Spray a bit of penetrating oil on the threads first. Then turn gently and evenly.

  2. Get a $20 Billy extractor kit. Use the bit that fits and take it off. If that strips out, still out the head is the bolt. That should relieve all tension and you should be able to use the extractor bit to remove the axle.

    Grumble, yell or maybe curse at whatever entity you believe to be bad for about 10-15 minutes, seethe for another 15, buy a screw extractor kit to get the messed up axle out & buy a new axle to put in. And be more careful with the bolt hole next time ^^

  4. If I had just a flat head and a hammer as basic tools, sure, it’d take a bit more time, but it possible, you got this!!
