65, 7 positive Covid tests. If I even get kitted up and go out for 10 minutes, at 10% effort, that wind in the face is therapeutic. Night rides are the best.

A cold- just do it. You’ll be fine.
Influenza- take your time. It really wipes you out. It’ll probably be a solid week before you’re back to form.
If you’re not sure which one you had, it’s a cold.

Take your time – any premature activity will just prolong your recovery. It will end up taking more time to get back in the saddle if you try to rush it
