Feeling fulfilled. This local tree near me had a bike chained to it! I always would walk by it and I thought it would be cool for me to get another bicycle as I always enjoyed cycling as a kid!
I walked by the bike weekly/monthly for about 6 months before I declared it abandoned and I went back with a pair of snips and cut the cheap lock off.
The bike had two flat but newer looking tires with slime tubes, a cute little rack, a bad and drippy black paint job, and a rear worn seat cover that would have given me many diseases.
After much distress I found out this is a giant sierra series 45, the derailer is a reproduction from Taiwan and it worked great! Not exactly the same as the Schimano rs it replaced but works!
