Found this listing for $500, offered $375 and guy said he’d take it. It’s literally just the bike with the wheels off and no tires. I have a pair of fresh conti GP 5000’s that Amazon sent me for free so this seems like a no brainer, but it is like an hour away unfortunately so I’m hesitant unless I know I would be able to sell it for a decent price. What do you think someone would be willing to pay for this after I clean it up and with fresh tires? I was thinking in the $800-$1200 range depending on how bad it actually is. LMK opinions, if it’s even worth the trouble at all

It’s worth whatever someone will pay for it, which (checks notes) seems to be around $375.
It’s a 12 yr old rim brake bike with 12 yr old components. It’s not a massively desirable one either, due to the insane rear brake placement.
I’d spend $400…$500 at most for that bike in working order.
It’s pretty outdated. You buy these bikes because you want to ride them, not because you want to make money on them. I sell about 100 bikes a year on the side. These don’t fetch much. It’s nice because I have like 7 super nice road bikes that aren’t worth much unless you find the perfect person, which could take weeks.
Best of luck, it looks nice
