Hey folks,
I’m thinking about upgrading the fork on my Canyon Neuron:ON AL. Right now, it’s running a Fox 36 Float Rhythm (150mm), but I’m looking at moving to a Fox 38 Performance Elite/Factory. The rear shock is already swapped to a Performance Elite Fox X, so the fork is next on the list.
My main question is about travel:
Should I go 160mm or 170mm?
Will either option mess up the bike’s geometry too much, or is it still reasonable for the Neuron’s frame?
I’m mostly riding trail/enduro-style terrain, nothing crazy like full-on downhill parks, but I’d like the extra stiffness and plushness from the 38.
Has anyone here tried a similar upgrade on a Neuron? Any experience with how the geo feels with longer travel up front?
Thanks!

First check with Canyon if an 160mm (or more) fork is supported.
Then also check if 170mm is supported :-).
