Nope it’s all in ur head, try running bigger bars to make it comfortable and cut the ends off em

  2. Modern BMX bikes aren’t really designed as commuters. You can sit down but you’re gonna look a bit like you’re on a monkey bike. It just is what it is.

  3. So you might do better with a longer bike. I live my old GT but I’m 6′ so that 19″ top tube from the 80s make me look huge. So if I’m just crushing I’m on a 24″ bike I have a 21″ redline from the 90s and that one doesn’t looks small when I’m riding. They don’t whip around like my GT but they still whip around.

  4. Yeah, 20″ bikes are smaller cause you’re riding around the park or trails or racing.

If you want something more for cruising around but still in bmx style youre looking at 24/26/29 inch wheels

  5. I’m 5’11, I ride a 20.75 wethepeople Reason, does me perfectly, I find 21 upwards too long feeling

I mean, if you’re looking for a BMX style cruiser, they make 24″, 26″ and 29″ bikes. I cruise around on a 29″ Sunday High C and it’s sick as hell. I know it’s not a technically a BMX bike, nor do I pretend it is, but it’s got style for days when cruising the neighborhood. I ride it all the time. If you’re looking to do tricks at the local skate park, that’s when you get out your 20″.

I am about as tall as you and also ride a 21″ frame.

Stem reach and rise and also bar rise can change alot of bike feel as well. So if you really think its to small, maybe just a longer stem would help.

Higher bars also means having to pull up higher for tricks etc.

But of you want a freestyle setup to learn tricks, you will always look weird sitting down and pedaling.
Only thing you could do is get a long af seatpost and extend it all the way while pedaling

  8. Looks totally normal, it’s a 21″ tt frame which is longer than would be recommended anyway for your height. They’re small bikes, not meant to be ridden sat down, the seat is mainly there to stop you getting mashed in places you don’t want to be if you slip a pedal, as well as a grab point for barspins and a few other tricks.
