Just bought this 90’s Mongoose. My first project!

Mongoose Alta from 1990 with, as far as I can see, its original parts still on.

A lot needs to be changed though (I mean, just look at that 'battery powered' front derailleur 😂). The freewheel hub needs to be changed, the gear shifters are a little hard to flip etc.

I don't plan on spending that much money on it, but I want it to look cool (cooler, I mean 😎) and I want to 1x convert the drivetrain.

Planning on adding a fron rack, fenders and change the handlebar to something cooler.

I am new to bike modding, this is my first projekt – so any tips are appreciated!
