Was the first time i rode up the Paterberg.
I stupidly decided to slowly ride around in circles at the top there trying to catch my breath and drink something.
was going too slow and pushed handlebars too far in just as i took a sip and I went down.

Took my ex out with me after she bought a bike, for no reason whatsoever came to a stop out of nowhere at a empty junction right in front of me. Didnt have time to react and tipped over still attached to the bike. Brand new £100 castelli jersey on scuffing all the arm lucky it didn’t put a hole in and scraped the bike. As if this wasnt bad enough a bar with a bunch of people outside drinking was right beside us which gave them a good laugh im sure.

I’m three years clippless and no falls. Close calls? Yes. I know it’s coming but, right now I’m pretty happy I’ve gone this long staying upright.
