Ever since I’ve been running this 10mm profile elite on my Sunday park ranger frame, my chain goes loose after every ride in the first 5 minutes.
When I was running my fit complete wheel I never had this problem at all.
I’ve tried changing the tires and it hasn’t made a difference.
I’m just confused why this is happening.
Also the wheel is screwed in properly.
The chain is super loose but the axle is tight.

Chain comes loose after one heavy flyout?

  1. Simple, your rear wheel isn’t tight enough in the dropouts. That’s all it is, tyres having nothing to do with it.
Try adding washers to your bolts to increase clamping pressure on the dropout, while also thickening them out, female axled hubs can bottom out when tightened up, so need a washer to pack out that space

Aside from adding a washer between the bolt head and dropouts you should really take a link out of your chain as well. Looks like your axle must have to be sat at the very end of the dropout to properly tension the chain, and if the bolt head is overhanging the end of the dropout then that’s probably contributing to the wheel slipping because there’s not enough surface area for it to clamp down on.
