I own five modern liter/plus bikes, each one a different style of riding. My big bore sport touring bike is EASILY the one I would keep if I could only have one!
Anyone that has more than 7/800cc is just a look at what ive got kind of person, in no real world situations are they a good idea of any kind.. way too heavy and fuel guzzling.. if you need power to ride spirtedly you have no skills and jumped to the biggest bike without learning skills on the smaller ones first..
I wouldn't call it a sportbike in any way. Id call it what I'd call my fjr1300. A touring bike with a sporting quality to it. But its definitely tourer first.
