Grabbed this Giant Trance X 1 on their nutty clearance sale. Amazing bike. Was a little hesitant on going 27.5, but a future mullet conversion and the price got me. While I was on it, I was pumped on how nimble, quick, and good on small jumps it is. Got all my parts in this week, and took it for it's first easy shake down at the local lake today.
On a short climb, and I felt a funny movement in the right pedal, and that was that. GX eagle crank pedal threads sheared out (Deity Deftraps). Maybe a bad casting, but stuff happens. Still a super fun bike with great parts for 2 grand. My LBS/ Giant dealer is a badass shop, so they will take care of me. Even tried looking at a rethread, but it was cooked.

Killer ride dude! It’s good to hear that you have solid folks at your shop that will look after you, always a comforting feeling when you drop big bucks on a new bike.
