I got the Microshift 46/29 crank and 11-42 10-speed cassette, installed them, and everything works fine! Big-big is a little iffy, but I'll never use that anyway. Photos of big-big and small-big attached.

Good move. If you just use your head and don’t use the two big cogs with the big chainring or the two small cogs withe the 29, it’s all good.
