  1. You can kill a shark by pulling them backwards through the water, depending on the shark, and this applies for white sharks. Don't drag them through it like that, it'll kill them. They use RAM ventilation to breathe, meaning they have to keep moving, and they can only move forwards.

Also, i hate to say this over and over, but DON'T LET THE SHARKS STAY ON LAND FOR MORE THAN 2 MINUTES. They have no rib cages and their "bones" are actually cartilage. They have nothing to support their own weight on land, meaning their internal organs will slowly be crushed under their own weight. That'll also kill them very quick. I hope this beauty is getting on okay. Common misconceptions can kill.

  2. Nice cat. We used to be able to pull them up on the beach in Delaware like that. Sandbar spinner sharks black tip duskies san tigers now you must release them in the water. Makes it a little more exciting

  3. This was an accidental catch. We believed it to be a mako at the time. As soon as we realized it was a juvenile great white shark, it was safely unhooked and released immediately, unharmed, in accordance with fishing regulations.

  4. Why drag it up all the way onto the beach if your gonna release it just keep it in the water sort of beached so you can get the release as quick as possible
