I’m looking for a bike under $2k, ideally under $1,500 unless worth it. These seem to be the best deals on bikes my size. Open to bother Hardtail or full suspension. Most riding trails in Texas but have gone up to Bentonville and plan to go other places. The yt is a size small instead of dog medium so may drop that one.

YT Capra is a very good bike, good stuff on this rig, but the Giant Trance, the geometry very balanced playful, also a very good bike.
Stance, trance, Capra. For a real answer I’d compare all those specs. I forget if stance 1 or 2 is better? If 1 then I’d say best bang for buck is the stance.
Anything but the Liv lmao. Just getta Giant, it’s the stupidest thing to have companies pretend like women need a whole ass different bike than men. Women are capable of riding a unisex bike, you don’t need to change the whole geo for them as if they don’t belong on ‘male’ bikes… I understand women focused saddles and stuff where anatomy places a genuine difference but I’m sorry, frame size does all you need to compensate a person – geometry and marketing is almost like pandering to women imo it’s so dumb. Juliana is stupid too, same gimmick. Marketing a whole brand to women implies they don’t belong on male bikes or within the world of men on bikes and I think it’s bs, soooo, avoid the brands marketed toward women and just get a giant or Santa Cruz instead of a liv or Juliana
Where is YT at with their bankruptcy proceedings? They were my go to recommendation for a long time (great bikes) but they pulled some really shady shit on their customers right before entering bankruptcy that makes it hard to recommend them as a company.
Forget the stance, the Trance is a significantly better bike. The flexpoint geometry on the stance is ass, the Maestro geometry on the trance is fantastic. The neuron is a great bike too.
Honestly this is a really wide range of styles of bike. A rangefinder is basically an xc/downcountry hardtail and a Capra is a full 170mm enduro bike. They are not designed for the same trails at all. Whether a hardtail, shorter travel full suspension, or longer travel full suspension bike makes the most sense for your riding is something youd need evaluate yourself first. For an all around pretty good at most everything bike I’d say the Trance X is the best fit. The Neuron is also great if you’d rather put your abilities to work going up a hill vs down.
Sounds like you need to figure out what kind of terrain you’re going to be riding. The Capra is an enduro bike. Great on high speed and steep trails, lousy in moderate undulating terrain. It’s wild to cross shop a Capra with a neuron, let alone a hard tail, because they’re designed for such different purposes.
