Dropper? I don’t know how droppers work.
Old memory poppin in… I remember a race video from 25 years ago maybe where it was dusty af and riders zip tied a syringe full of lube near a derailleur to keep the chain lubed. Not sure if it was actuated or a drip system.

That’s some wild cable routing.
I prefer to mount to the downtube and use a more conventional routing
