  1. Yeah, I just lay it down and try to find a log or rock to set the rear triangle on. It’s a pain, but less than unpacking.

  2. You might be able to hang it by the seat. If there’s a sturdy horizontal metal bar (or sometimes wooden fence) somewhere you might be able to hang it by the nose. You still have to lift the bike, but at least you don’t have to flip it. I’ve been able to hook my handle bars and the side of my seat along a fence before, but then it’s really difficult to access the axel. And I’m assuming you’re trying to not take off the bags.

  3. Hang it from a head height tree limb by the seat. Double leg kickstand works well and is cheap if you have the room.
