I’m in touch with someone on Facebook marketplace about this Trek Doman’s AL 2. I’m just a casual biker, I like to get around Brooklyn and take joy rides, but not doing much long distance cycling. Is $325 a good price for this bike, and is this a decent bike? She said she just used it for a year or two and it’s still in good conditions.

I would 100% buy that bike for that price!
If it fits you, yeah, that’s a solid deal. Even if you decide you do like long distance it’ll take you anywhere you’d want. Outside of pure racing there’s not a better type of road bike to get, IMO. Rim brakes on aluminum wheels are reliable, low maintenance, the shifting on that bike should be great (or easy to make great) and it’ll feel really fast when you want it to.
