If you want to be safe, install a tire liner inside your tire. It will help prevent the air pressure from tearing up the tire further, and as a bonus it will add an additional flat protection.

Check to see if there’s a piece of glass in there, if so, remove it, keep riding. These are very common. The more flat resistant your tire is the more you’ll have. I don’t even bother checking for glass with my tires. If I get a flat from glass it probably means I need a new tire.
