  1. Still safe, keep an eye if the edges bulge out. If they still lie flat (like here) the casing is most likely intact and the tire structurally sound.

  2. If you want to be safe, install a tire liner inside your tire. It will help prevent the air pressure from tearing up the tire further, and as a bonus it will add an additional flat protection.

    Check to see if there’s a piece of glass in there, if so, remove it, keep riding. These are very common. The more flat resistant your tire is the more you’ll have. I don’t even bother checking for glass with my tires. If I get a flat from glass it probably means I need a new tire.
