I don’t approve of what Israel does, and Israel-Premier Tech isn’t even my favorite team, but it’s incredibly low to boycott a bike race because of something these riders are not involved in and surely don’t support. Yes, they chose to ride for a team that carries the name ‘Israel,’ but at the end of the day this is sport. Cycling is about training, teamwork, and competition — not politics. Athletes are not policy makers, and mixing political protests into a race only punishes people who have nothing to do with the conflict. If you want to make a change than go to the actual place and help them but yeah it was gen z…too lazy to help

Jeez why does the Visma perform poorly in time trial of lately? They used to be very dominant at it. Here thank goodness in the last 2-3km they pushed hard to minimize the damage but the flops in the first two check points are not very characteristic of them…
Well done to the protesters, actions against that team should be incessant until their owner decides he doesn't want to keep enduring it and leaves the team to some clean entity.
Shameful that things would go on, business as usual, with little too no mention of the incident by the various commentators and/or fellow riders as if nothing serious just happened. It's no accident that this happened during the TTT and this action damages the integrity of the entire race. The organizers have some decisions to make but if this incident goes ignored or unaddressed properly, IPT, (a sports team far from politics), should strongly consider removing themselves from the race in protest.
