Carbon Fork: Scratches & Dents

Hi,

during the first service of my Storck Aernario.2 Comp, the fork came out of the frame with visible and noticeable dents.

• Is this a serious damage?
• I don’t really understand how such damage could occur in that spot – isn’t there supposed to be “air” inside the head tube?
• Are there also imprints from the lower bearing race that aren’t supposed to be there? The headset didn’t have any play.

Any advice would be appreciated!
