Bought this Peugeot Mach 3 recently but after research, I found out that some parts were no longer original. So I thought about converting it into a singlespeed.

I bought a cheap wheelset in black from a sale recently, which are pretty lightweight but also pretty ugly (2nd picture) with a set of Continental Grand Prix 5000 S.

Now my thought: I could use the Wheelset + black saddle + black handlebar tape + black chainring + red crankset + red chainring screws and white/silver pedals

What are your thoughts? Pls have mercy, it is my first time venturing into bicycle designing

  1. Good luck using those conventional wheels on a left sided drivetrain bike. Pretty rare way to make a bike, though a few recent track bikes have it, supposedly to have the extra weight downslope on the velodrome and more aerodynamic so the yaw induced by asymmetry pulls the bike inwards.
