I think it is worth that, but do note that his writeup saying that a 56cm is good for someone 5’8 through 6’2 is horsecrap. Probably 5’10 to 6’2 is more realistic

$1,800 is decent. If it fits you, go for it. If you go lower and he doesn’t budge, get it for that price. I would be curious to see why he’s so ready and willing to dispose of a bike after splurging $4,000 worth of upgrades on it but then again, he probably knows that he’ll never recoup his upgrade ‘investment’ especially since it’s a 2017 bike.
If you get it and it truly has those upgrades and it’s in excellent condition, all you’ll do is replace tires and other wearables for a few years as the bike has all the upgrades you need and want!
