Hopefully it’s charged when you do! That’d be my concern.

Make sure you use it regularly. The downside of battery operated devices for emergencies is it rarely gets maintained. So when you actually need it, it’s 50/50 if it works out not.

It’s a great option, probably the best. I have a small battery that I carry also in case for some odd reason it isn’t charged but I charge mine once every two weeks and haven’t noticed more than 1 to 2 percent less in those weeks.

These things are actually heavier than a small manual pump solving a non existing problem in my view. Have a look at lezyn those weight 80-90grams vs 222 for this thing I know what I like to carry in my back pocket

Does this model allow you to set the PSI or is it a preset/default max PSI?

Use it to do your routine air pressure checks/ top ups, then you’ll notice if you need to charge it. It’s great for pressure adjustments mid ride ( i.e., for airing up or down between road and gravel).
