Hello, I picked up MTBing recently. I'm about two weeks of riding. I was practicing on clearing this blue table top jump. I am trying to fix my technique. Based on what I've read and watched, I should be popping up more and my front wheel should be going up more, I think? Anyway, I'd greatly appreciate any tips. Thank you.

  1. Compressed into the jump too early you got low okay but need to put more weight into the face of the jump later. Watch the video you aren’t really pushing into the jump face in the last 1/3 of the face.

  2. You are jumping early. When your legs extend you are still on the bottom half of the transition. By the time your back wheel is going off the lip your legs are getting pulled back in.

You want to be jumping off the lip not before it.
