The first trip was a weekend with my wife, two year old son and my brothers family at a camping near our home town. My son was being potty trained at the time so the potty was crucial. I had all the clothes and cooking gear. Tent, chairs, sleeping bags, mats and toys were stowed in our cargobike.

The second trip was 3 days / 2 nights at my own in the German Eifel and Belgian Hoge Venen area. No comfort, only a bivy bag and a lightweight MSR stove.

  1. The first picture was just before we returned home; I forgot I also had to carry the tent by that time. You always pack less efficient on the way back…

    Awesome, looks like a lot of fun! What rear cargo rack are you using on the gravel bike? Is that the Focus Adventure Rack?
