The theft came just hours after Jonas Vingegaard claimed victory on stage 2 and took the red jersey as overall leader. Why not have paid rent-a-cops and/or loyal volunteers keep an eye on the parking lot. This is actually getting repitious, crazy.

A security guard with a dog should sleep on the van with the bikes. Sad this is necessary but maybe the best way to deter thieves.
Oh come on, everyone knows UAE Team Emirates stole the Visma bikes.
All it takes is one minimum wage security guard with a phone to watch the trucks all night. Team management is pretty dumb here … a couple hundred € a night to save €250K …. Easy maths.
