I recommend keeping the rubber side down to avoid bleeding on your new bike.
Jokes aside, I also have a seigla and found putting some big fast mtb tires on it to be extremely fun and fast- 2.2 race king or 2.1 thunder burts. Enjoy the clearance. Massive upgrade that few bikes have the option of. If you ride tarmac mostly, a 50c+ pair of semi slicks is also awesome.
The stem that came on mine was cheap aluminum, I improved the fit and ride with a slightly longer carbon alternative.
