I have a ENVE Melee and purchased the corresponding Aeroset 1.
The top cap does not fit inside the bearing by quite some margin, and as a result now sits “on top” of it, leaving a considerable gap.
What am I missing?

What does the bearing seat in the frame look like? I’ve seen a couple of ENVE frames with a little paint overspray that kept bearings from seating fully
