28:47 – what a beautiful home
Such a pretty city filled with amazing churches and architecture. Even the retaining walls are lovely
Beautiful in winter covered with white snow.
Thank you !ili
I love Aberdeen, it looks so pretty in the snow. Thank you for sharing. 🥰
I grew up in Aberdeen as a young boy aged 6. I'd been brought over with my parents from Uganda where I was born. I spent a year with my Mother & we rented a terraced house in 4 Waverly Crescent. My Mother worked for Tom Scott-Sutherland who was an Architect and businessman (and wrote 2 books). I went to Mile End school & after a year I was sent to Robert Gordons College & lived in Sillerton Housr which was at 15 Albyn Place (now apartments). We also had a flat in 64 Hamilton Place & from there we went on to live at 44 Rubislaw Den South. At the age of 12 I was sent to Gordonstoun near Elgin. Throughout your video you have taken me on a journey that has brought back so many memories that I had forgotten. Thank you so much for this, it has really made me feel quite emotional especially as I'm nearly 70 now & live in Birmingham. I've only been back to Aberdeen once in 2016 (after we emigrated to South Africa in 1975). I love that you don't provide any diaglogue that would distract from the viewing. I loved your walking tour of Aboyne a couple of years ago which is where my grandfather lived in a house called Southerton on the Braemar Road. Thanks once again, I shall visit here often.
I don't mind light snow like that , looks to be melting on impact
THANK YOU FOR CREATING AND SHARING ❤
So so beautiful.❤
Snow always looks so beautiful following down.
Thank you for this video 😍😍😍
Trouble with Aberdeen driving is bus lanes, set up to fine you. Cash cow Aberdeen city council have ruined the city beyond redemption.
The lack of traffic is a bit unexpected, but bus gates and bypass combined have presumably done that.
Would have expected more buses on Union Street.
What a delightful journey through Aberdeen! The snowy streets look like something out of a fairy tale. ❄🤩
You missed out Tillydrone, Mastrick and Torry, to name a few… also no sign of Bridge of Don, Dyce or Bucksburn… 😢😢
Really enjoyed watching the section from Milltimber to Cults.
My late wife grew up at the farm up Hillhead Road at Bieldside and we visited many times before her parents moved from there. It's all very much changed now, but on Google Maps you still see Father in Law pottering away in his greenhouse.
I haven't been there much in recent years, but as we spent several Christmas's there your winter tour made that area seem particularly familiar, bringing back many memories; walks up the road, the friendly neighbours and nipping in to Cults to get the paper and butteries from Kellys, etc.
Thanks for posting, and I'll do the rest of the tour another time.
Ian 👍
Thank you so much for uploading this video!! I lived in Scotland for one year while working as a volunteer there and this just brought up so many cheerful memories!
Thank you for that. When I lived in Aberdeen in the 70s, I rode the bus back to Aberdeen from Cults daily. This trip brough back lots of memories. Cheers!
Thank you for the lovely drive 👍

This video is amazing. These places under snow are like a movie ❤
Beautiful drive! American living in San Diego California. Went to high school at American School of Aberdeen 1975-1979 just outside Cults. Dad worked in North Sea oil. Loved the people. Weather, of course, was challenging. Particularly the wind. But it was beautiful and people were wonderful. Very happy memories.

그리운 곳의 현재를 보게 되어 너무 기쁩니다. 좋은 영상 감사해요! ❤
특히 퀸스 로드. 다시 그 곳을 걷거나 운전하는 꿈을 꿔 봅니다 ❤
Missing Aberdeen
A beautiful drive through my home city is exactly what I needed. I've been agoraphobic for the past 9 years and have barely left my house. Thank you so much ❤
Nice video. Thanks and beautiful City !! 👏👏👏👏👏😍😍😍
Thank you for the memories!
Stuck to Southern Aberdeen
A magnificent country, always rainy and cool. Heaven on earth.
Havent lived in toon for a while. So you can no longer turn right into Rosemount Viaduct from Union Terrace heading towards School Hill?
