Always wanted to do a klunker / klunker adjacent build. Buddy said he “had a couple beach cruisers on the side of the house”. One of them had all the markings of a cool early 80s American steel frame that I’m convinced is a Laguna Cruiser. Stripped it down, shipped it home, and pieced it together. The seatpost was completely nature-welded to the seat tube and has been the biggest hurdle so far.
It’ll slowly evolve with upgrades but it’s been a blast to ride so far.

Sweet build and very cool that you resurrected it before it rusted away! Is the Laguna Cruiser especially significant in some way? In not really familiar with cruiser bikers.
