What questions do you have about driving Uber?

Can you guys make a video on share rides and how they aren't fair to the driver?
Lets say i have 2 hours left to drive and i am near home. I accept a share ride that is nearby and upfront time is 15 minutes. Ok, no problem. Then uber will tell me to pick up another pax, 20 minutes added to the time, takes me 20 further away from home. Then another pax…
Anyhow, multiple times i have had share rides take longer than 1 hour and brought me long distances from my starting point. It doesnt advise you beforehand and give the "long ride" warning. You are just expected to perform 75 minutes of hard driving. Lots of pickups, dropoffs, and merges.
I cant take these at all if i need to be somewhere within 2.5/3 hours, its too risky. After 75 minutes i could be too far away and now im rushed.
This is alarming with the advantage program and acceptance and cancellation rate requirements upcoming in my market (Vegas)
Now they are going to take hybrid of the Uber green market so what is my Toyota Prius full EV are sinking and that is why they need to wipe off all hybrids from platform 😂
Why i never see the payout fir redes when they come in? It only shows the triple distance
Uber is paying a lot more in Minneapolis than on Fort Myers FL. that ride is $3 and change in Fort Myers $5.50 is at least 5 miles and 15 minute ride, and when you get a long ride on the highway that you got a lot of miles the pay per mile goes down so if you get a $20 ride you will take at least one hour and put a lot of miles in your car they pay less per mile the further you drive its criminal.
$8.39 for 2.9 miles 10 minutes thats a lot better than Fort Myers wich would be about under $5 for sure
That’s not true sometimes we got a job over 3miles away for alot of drivers different prices stop laying please?
Can someone tell me why I can’t see the pay or the drop off location?
I'm strugglng with how to quickly calculate whether or not an uber ride is worth it to me. I feel like at least with lyft, they give more information on each ride and makes it a lot easier to decide in the moment whether to take it or not.
If you are cherry picking rides in the uber app then leveling up will be almost impossible. If you are doing it for extra money instead of a job then don’t expect a whole lot out of the app but a few hundred dollars on your days off. Your driver insight dashboard is critical when it comes to matching with riders. Use the heat map to navigate to the money signs. That means there are current requests going out but no one close enough or not accepting the ride. Take every ride possible to learn the app to its full potential.
The amount of money per ride , is that net in your puckets?
I only have uber eats as preference how do I get uber c and the others
If you hit the coffee button after accepting a ride won't Uber think you are taking a break right then?
If you choose to click on the "stop new requests" then you shouldn't receive any back to back requests?
I have Solo but cannot get Lyft to connect, had no issues with Uber.
The problems I'm seeing now I think this is kind of new is the distance to pick up could be 18 minutes for $5 ride not counting the drop off😅
The rides he is looking at I would probably consider they're reasonable I never get reasonable distance to or pay
Very helpful video!
Thanks your video, that really helpful. I am a beginner in Sweden and being ask by putting price before the trip. However I cannot find the price after accepting the ride. It turns out that it is hidden under the navigation bar. Try today.
You're blessed in the US to be able to see trip previews. In Australia it's a blind date. No idea what i'm earning, no idea where i'm going, no idea how long the trip is
I didn't see a trip preview it just a blind date. We need control over these gag companies. They are taking advantage of people.
Thank you for producing this type of a walk-through kind of Uber rideshare video. I just got myself approved to do that as well, just got my decals on my vehicle….now it's just a matter of time of me picking up passengers. Unfortunately no dashcam. I'm trying to save money for that. 1 step at a time.
UBER IS A SHIT BAG COMPANY RUN BY A CROOK! LOST A HUGE LAWSUIT 290 MILLION DOLLARS FOR STEALING DRIVERS MONEY! THR DRIVER APP WAS HACKED BY SCAMMERS AT LEAST 3 YEARS AGO AND UBER HAS DONE NOTHING ABOUT IT!! BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU DRIVE FOR THEM!! DO NOT LEAVE VERY MUCH MONEY IN YOUR ACCOUNT THE SCAMMERS CAN SEE EVERYTHING AND YOU WILL BE A TARGET!!
how hard is it press a button
I wish they would give you like 15 seconds to accept a ride, like Lyft does.
I can’t slide it down anymore. Anyone know why?
You are certainly more helpful than the Uber AI !!
This information here it's completely NOT ACCURATE at alll what they're telling you here, it's totally false! You do not see all this information when you get a request. All you see, it's how many minutes away it is from picking up the passenger, you will not know where you're going to until you get to that passenger. And then they will tell you where they are going. This is not accurate at all. As I stated
What If you dont decline and dont accept?
Does it show how many people
Do they pay u driving to the customer?
Thank you for this video. It helped me greatly. I watch this video almost everyday to keep in my memory. ❤️❤️❤️
OK, I hope you can help me with this one, I’m ready to take my first Uber driver ride ,Uber has been emailing me constantly telling me to get moving …though I cannot find a way to communicate to them that I just had surgery. We’ll leave that for another discussion
Anyway I was going to take my first Uber drive and in doing so …my wife gets picked up
By Uber at the country club, she works in four days a week since I was in the same city visiting a hospital. I decided to have my wife be my first ride in case I messed anything up. I wasn’t gonna get zero stars or something like that I just wanted to take one short drive to make sure I had the app working correctly with someone I knew in the car Now here’s where it gets interesting
I pulled about a mile away from where she walks out the door, I was sitting there and turned on Uber went online. She called me and said she was going to ask for an Uber. She got three different Ubers that were further away from me and canceled them all while I got 15 other rides that I just canceled because I was trying to get my wife as my ride …so I drove right up to the circular driveway in front of the country club where she was standing on the other side she could not contact me, though. I was clearly the closest vehicle on earth to her at that time …I did not get her request. She did not see me as an Uber car ,Yet I was getting ride calls left and right from other places. What the hell was going on there, I thought they went by the closest car to the riders location. Why would that happen?
She needed a ride and she even said to me “if I had to get someplace in a hurry, your car was right across the street “
instead she would’ve had a wait 15 minutes for another Uber driver yet they did not inform me she needed an Uber? Hoping you know the answer to this
again, I will say it was going to be my first ride …thank you for your great content and especially thank you if you reply. We were looking at each other from 40 feet away yet, Uber did not “see” either one of us. While I was getting calls for 15 other rides, how does that happen?
I did my first Uber ride a couple of days ago, on my own! I'm so proud of myself as I'm an old fart.
Today will be my 1st time uber driver
I enjoyed uber eats
If youre fairly far away from home can you request/select calls only headed in the direction of home ?
I just started uber, how do I get the coffee break icon on my home screen?
Excellent instruction!
I am not getting the display of the fare price and distance of the fare when a ride request pops up can anyone help me fix this in my app?
Uber must fail..😬😬
I have completed all the required registration steps for becoming a delivery partner, except for the bag section. I would like to ask: • Will Uber provide the delivery bag, or do I need to purchase it myself? • Is it the same process for the bicycle? Do I need to buy a bicycle, or is one provided?
In Germany?
You may want to update this. They just did a overhaul of the main screen when you hit Go.
Thanks much for pointing out the Pit Stop coffee cup tool! Tomorrow will be my first time driving for Uber in over NINE YEARS. Watching your tutorials is relieving so much anxiety. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Uber is so saturated now the pay is significantly lower now and keeps going down just like DoorDash better find a real job
Great info, thank you.
