I’d love to see the geometry specs on this bike. If you’re hitting some smooth single track dirt trails or commuting to work then it is probably the best bike you can get for $600.
If you have ambitions of more than 6″ of air under your tires, “shredding”, or any level of steeze then a bump in budget is probably in order.
The Deore components are a huge plus. Even the Shimano MT-200 brakes are great for this budget. But the fork isn’t great, the wheel width could be wider, and the lack of through axles limits upgrades.
