The bottle cage mount on my ebike is in a horrible location. It makes it so I can't easily stand over my bike. The inside of my leg is constantly bruised from hitting it on the bottle cage. The only other mounting point on my bike doesn't have enough space to fit a water bottle.

My only ideas so far are a side pull bottle cage on the seat tube (under the saddle) or on the handlebars. I don't like the idea of putting it on the handlebars though and I'm a bit worried a seat tube mount will be awkward to get to while I'm riding. Behind the saddle isn't an option because I put a basket on top of my rack when I'm carrying more cargo. I don't want to use a hydration pack because I have shoulder problems.

Any other ideas? What do you think the best option is?

Why do you need a bottle holder on a commuter bike?

I use this place for a folding lock.

  2. You must have a long commute. I don’t drink on my 45 min commute and I’m in Arizona.

  3. You’ve got plenty of room in your saddle bag if you’re willing to stop and take a break for water.

  4. Is this how low your saddle is while riding? The issue here might actually be fit instead of bottle mount location. Your leg should be almost completely straight at the bottom of the stroke
